That is, Kapitola's birthday is better this way, there are only 6 other girls in her class so it works out to just invite them to the family thing. Ragnar's birthday is in the summer so we usually just have a cookout at the local park with the whole family, and ofcourse the kids from his class are invited (but you know how summer birthdays go - half the class is on a football meet and the other half is abroad) well, hot dogs and marshmallows and stuff and then we just goof around in the forrest. I guess next year we'll just do an intimate gathering at home though... we'll see, we usually just let him decide which one he wants, but the damn bouncy castle playroom thing is OFF forever NEVER again...Zionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14663300807891970868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4870147679654479166.post-77302340082726266242014-07-15T09:34:44.584-07:002014-07-15T09:34:44.584-07:00It's so much more personal that way, isn't...It's so much more personal that way, isn't it?Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560915475800050580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4870147679654479166.post-16335679882515959082014-07-15T07:32:21.974-07:002014-07-15T07:32:21.974-07:00AW that is so sweet of him to want to donate to a ...AW that is so sweet of him to want to donate to a charity!! I agree, that's how my birthday parties were. This is pretty much how we do my step-kids parties and they are 16 and 12 now. Even in their earlier years it has just always ended up being our family and maybe a friend or two and they open their cards/gifts while everyone watches on :)Amiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04738442092989090297noreply@blogger.com
